DEI Logic

“If I am physically unable to rescue your husband from a fire, it is his fault for being caught in a  fire.”  The qualities to do a job are irrelevant when hiring decisions are based upon sex and color.

Clowns. How infuriating. Narcissists running the show. Deliberately putting people’s lives at risk should warrant prison time. But if this fails then let it be a reminder that God is a just God.

These DEI firefighters in the video are obese. There is NO excuse for obesity in an occupation like firefighting, police, military, etc. Once again, as I commented elsewhere, I write those words as a person whom his dctor called obese and said, “Do something about it or have a heart attack and go impotent.” Yes, my doctor said that. I want to write something here that’s really disparaging about gluttonous narcissists telling us that their inability to rescue male victims from a fire is the victim’s fault, but Donald would (once again) need to put me on probation.

That “womyn” in the video needs a good 8 kilometers on the rowing machine like what I did last night (39 minutes, not bad for a 66 year old), and she needs to do it every night till she loses weight and can carry a victim out of a fire. I got no tolerance for imbecility.

Man/Woman; “My will be done.”

God; “Yes. Your will was done.”

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hollowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is Heaven….

Pride says; My kingdom come…my will be done, on earth. Period.

Ten years ago I had a discussion about letting women be firefighters even if they did not meet the physical standards. The argument back then was “why does a woman need to be strong enough to carry someone out of a fire, as long as her male colleagues can do it?”

But since the goal of DEI is to eliminate white people, Christians and men from the workplace, I suppose this is the inevitable next stage of the argument.

Umm… How is that statement not victim blaming, which I believe is one of the mortal sins of the woke religion.

Would you also not rescue people from a burning church because they were in the “wrong place”? How about a burning Klan meeting? How about a burning BBQ joint if half your squad is vegan? Who gets to decide what the wrong place is?

Oh, the experts. Silly me – I forgot.

Somehow, I’m pretty sure the 19th Century fire dept would have rescued hookers from a burning brothel, but that’s the narrow Christian thinking 🙄

Nowadays, according to DEI, we’d have to have firefighters that looked like hookers go in and rescue them!

In my great-grandpa’s day (he was a fire captain in SF in 1906) firefighter and engineer were separate career paths, with the engineers tending the old boilers so they (1) maintained pressure and (2) didn’t explode on scene. Whether there were separate physical standards I don’t now. After fighting the fire and earthquake he had to be carried home and slept for four days.

The problem is there’s a good chance that the person she’d have to carry out of the building would be her 6’5″, 250 lb. firefighting partner. Who’d want to be teamed up with someone who couldn’t help you if things went south?

It takes a grotesque sort of selfishness to occupy a job one cannot physically perform, where the stakes are life and death, all because that person wanted that job.
Basically that woman is declaring that the most important thing is she wanted to LARP as a firefighter, and the fact that some people are likely going to suffer because she can’t actually do the job is just less important.

She’s got what she wanted, and the people she was hired to serve aren’t protected— and she (and her superiors) are fine with that. To me, that lack of moral compass is even more disqualifying that her physical inability to do the job.

Clinton-

“grotesque sort of selfishness”

So true.
Describes way too much of our current culture.

Lia Thomas..male swimmer in girls competition a year or so ago. The male boxer in the Olympics Last Summer, beating up on women.

They are a cancer to the traditional family and it’s virtues, which are nourished within that traditional family, are to be turned inside out, honoring what, vices and perversity? (run on rant is over, but the comments above are right on, imo.)

It is incredible that this video is intended as a promotion for the DEI view. They just don’t realize how unprofessional it is.

My Mama did her best to raise me to be a lady. Consequently, I never properly learned to spit. In situations like this, it is a lack I regret.

“If I am physically unable to rescue your husband from a fire, it is his fault for being caught in a fire.”

Sooo….if my niece plays club volleyball in a convention center and I go to encourage her–she IS my god-daughter after all,…if the place catches fire and they must carry me out, …it’s my fault for having been fool enough to attend? I’m sure my niece will be SOOO pleased when I give that as my cause for staying home…..
Or maybe I’m supposed to inspect every place I go for risk of fire.
…If so, why do we have the fire department again??
