Priorities

I would cut Biden slack on the grounds of senility, but throughout his long, long, long career in politics it was always about him.  A monument to selfishness is my summary of his over fifty years in public life.  January 20 can not get here too soon.

In related news, Biden just canceled a planned trip to Italy and the Vatican — the final foreign trip of his presidency, which was to have included an audience with Pope Francis — so that he can stay in Washington to (allegedly) monitor response to the California wildfires. Probably to avoid the bad optics of being overseas during a major disaster, although at this point I don’t know whether anyone would have cared.

Not quite sure why he is still being allowed to do press conferences.
