“Normal” is not the watchword of the 21st Century.
It is especially abnormal when the majority of the “shepherds”, up to and including the man sitting in the See of Peter, openly despise and seek to erase *that* liturgy. One might even call it non-Catholic, or worse.
Mr. Don, kudos to you for the selection of the military chaplain saying the Mass of the Ages!
I myself offer it every day (except Sundays, when perforce I offer a traditionalist’s version of the Novus Ordo).
During my time in the Service, the Old Mass, and everything traditional, has gone from being a bone of contention (among some) to a matter of interest if not downright enthusiasm.
