We junked our baby monitors soon after our twins were born. They were so filled with static that it was impossible to sleep. Of course that was 33 years ago and perhaps the tech has improved. (Taking turns getting up with crying babies is the only way not to have both parents being zombies the next day. Three advanced degrees between us, and experience had to teach my Bride and me that lesson.)
