PopeWatch: Just Wait For The Aztec Rite With Human Sacrifice

In order to implement what the Council ordered, the then-called Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, on January 25, 1994, published the Fourth Instruction entitled The Roman Liturgy and Inculturation. Among other things, it says that “diversity does not harm its unity, but rather enriches it” (No. 1). “The liturgy of the Church must be able to express itself in every human culture, while preserving its identity through fidelity to the tradition received from the Lord” (Ibid. 18). “The liturgy, like the Gospel, must respect cultures, but at the same time invites us to purify and sanctify them” (Ibid. 19-20). “Diversity in some elements of liturgical celebrations is a source of enrichment, always respecting the substantial unity of the Roman Rite, the unity of the whole Church and the integrity of the faith that has been transmitted to the saints once and for all.”

Go here to read the rest.  But of course none of this applies to the traditional Mass which must be rooted out.  Like most Leftists, if the gang at the Vatican did not have double standards, they would have no standards at all.

The (rigid) rationale of this Pontificate is quite simple:

1 Thessalonians 5:21 applies to Pagan worship practices

1 Thessalonians 5:22 applies to the Tridentine Mass

… And don’t you dare mix these two up!

My Roman Empire Heritage Club meets weekly, on Sundays. We celebrate the contributions of the city on the Tiber to our ancestors. We can reliably trace ethnicity back to peoples in the Empire during the centuries of its activity.

It would be of great cultural significance to our group, growing daily, if we could have Mass offered in a culturally appropriate way in the authentic Latin of the period.

As co consul for AD 2024, I make this request.
We expect your reply before the Vernal Picnic, planned for either the north or south bank of the Rubicon. You are invited, either way.

And let’s not forget that none of this “inculturation” nonsense would be an issue had the Church simply retained the essence of its catholicity (and big-C Catholicity, as well) via the Vetus Ordo as the only Roman liturgical rite.

Wonder how many this will actual draw and how many it will repel into the arms of the Evangelicals and Pentecostals. Will Tucho and the other “Pansy Cardinals” care?

We are all “indigenous” to this world. Apparently, however, some “little ones” are more indigenous than others, and are too inherently simple to understand our Catholic faith unless it is dumbed-down with paganism. “Choose this day whom you will serve”, God or Ixchel.

Not sure what the purpose of doing this would be. Catholicism is not new in Mexico, in-fact it is the centre of Mexican culture – Our Lady of Guadalupe is everywhere. The purpose of change is to improve something. They want to acknowledge indigenous cultures to improve what exactly? Church attendance? Well, it doesn’t make a difference. Novelty’s surely always wear off.

It’s like giving a child a lollipop when they neither like or not like sweets. The child does not see it as a “treat”. The child actually does not care.

The current Vatican mob are so arrogant to meddle with Catholic tradition in order to cater to anyone and everyone. The whole hierarchy needs to be dismantled and rebuilt from scratch.

I am praying for a Holy Pope. We Catholics deserve one.

We don’t deserve a Holy Pope. Because of our apathy and complacency, we deserve what God gave us –> Jorge the Heretic. But we NEED a Holy Pope.

LQC – I respectfully disagree. A lot of us are doing our best. Including yourself. We faithful Catholic should stop being hard on ourselves for a minute. We are trying are we not? God surely sees that. Otherwise we have no hope and no hope is not of God, it is what the satan wants us to believe. Our God is a God of hope. We don’t “deserve” to be miserable.

LQC, There are many, many God fearing people in the US. Without our prayers, novenas, Holy Hours and fasting/penance I firmly believe Trump would not be president elect and Trump knows his election was Divine Providence.

I do think Pope Francis is a wake up call for us to be more devout. Some dioceses and seminaries do need reform in the US. Cannot speak to other countries.

But a Pachy mama rite is heathen rite. The Pope has surrounded himself with bad subordinates.

Oh, has anyone seen red lighting in buildings for persecuted Christians? Or letters from their bishops about this? We are rural, so have not seen any denomination churches lit up. Plus our priest is on retreat. Guess there is still time to find red spotlights if the bishop okays..
