He just made a 44yo Ukrainian, who is a Parish Priest of a Melbourne Parish, a Cardinal. He is yet to become an Australian citizen.
Francis has overlooked Archbishop Anthony Fisher (Archbishop of Sydney), Peter Comensoli (Archbishop of Melbourne), Julien Porteous (Archbishop of Hobart)…anyone who had any affiliation with the late George Pell or holds true to Catholic Doctrine. Porteous is a stanch anti same-sex marriage advocate.
