Usually Presidential debates don’t matter much and Veep debates don’t matter at all, but Vance was the clear winner tonight. Vance dominated on substance and style. The most lopsided debate since Reagan v. Carter. The GOP standard bearer for President in 28 is going to be Vance.
I had to laugh at Wilz’ final comments, “Kamala Harris has built a coalition: Bernie Sanders, Dick Cheney, and Taylor Swift.”
Hmmm, what will her cabinet look like if she wins?
As is my custom I caught a bit of it while driving and didn’t bother to listen to the rest.
The bit I caught included Walz claiming that Trump admired China’s COVID lockdown policies. This is from the governor of a state that had some of the harshest lockdown policies, and even a snitching line to report on neighbors that were somehow eking out some freedom.
The rest consisted of Walz rambling on about things that had absolutely nothing to do with the question he was asked to an extent that even Kurt Eichenwald would think it was a bit much.
I don’t trust “anything” that the lying liberal media says or does. Bastards;

They were leaning hard into Vance being “weird”, and Walz being “masculine”. I think they needed a win in this debate, and now they’re panickingly fact-checking Vance in order to try to spin the story into Walz winning. The narrative on a debate can take a few days to settle.
