Agreed. But releasing the results of their internal poll was a slap at Harris. Her meeting with the head of the Teamsters must have gone very poorly.

Optimist, based on my long experience dealing with union officers, I’d go with both. They have to listen to some degree, because they are elected officials of the union. But they also like to cover their behinds with their usual patrons in the Jackass Party.
If truck drivers are leaning towards Trump, then maybe all those “right-wing” talk radio shows and podcasts are finally having an effect. (My brother was a truck driver for several years, and he could not get enough of talk radio.)
