I belong to a conservative Catholic organization that hosts speakers in the Archdiocese of Chicago. Cupich has told some of the guest speakers that they don’t have his permission to address audiences in the Archdiocese. Most ignore this, however, it’s easier for everyone to hold events outside his territory. Naturally he comes down hardest on pro lifers.
