At the time the Lois Lerner scandal erupted in 2013, every member of the old guard should have been on the record that this is just not done. That includes John McCain, both Bushes, Richard Cheney, Robert Dole, Michael Dukakis, Gary Hart, Walter Mondale, and Jimmy Carter. You should have heard from them over ballot security. You should have heard from them when the Russian collusion hoax was exposed. You should have heard from them over the treatment of the J6 defendants. You should have heard from them over the Burisma scandals. You should have heard from them over the laptop scandal. You should have heard from them over the border. You should have heard from them on the collusion between the security services and tech comoanies. Now, maybe you rummage through Reader’s Guide and you’ll find some public remarks on these issues from one or another of them (my wager would be remarks from Dole). AFAICT, they all snoozed through these scandals.

Yo, Donald L. I’m 94.3 and still reasonably competent mentally. It’s not necessarily valid to make judgments of a whole population based on a few specific instances, or that’s what probabability and statistics tell us.
