Clearly he’s threatened by democracy
Went to college with him. He hated American then. The worst part though, was there seemed to be no joy in his life. Only his Communist inspired hate gave him warmth.
One little question unanswered from the Cold War is who was financing his father’s outfit (the Institute for Policy Studies, which still exists). A writer named Rael Jean Isaac triggered a paroxysm of rage in the leftoid press ca. 1980 when she penned a critique of the Institute which made the argument that they were publicists for Soviet foreign policy. The Soviet Government had occult financial channels supporting Communist Parties at that time, so it’s not outlandish that some of the swag made its way to IPS. (We learned a generation ago that both Armand Hammer and I.F. Stone were Soviet agents. Why not Marcus Raskin and Richard Barnet?).
Rep Raskin and David Cairens are touting Ivan Raiklin as “Trump’s Revenge Secretary”. He supposedly is compiling a list of Trump’s enemies for payback. Cairens is one of the 51 intelligence officers that were on the NY Post front page. Their letter with falsehoods was election interference in 2020.
From reading about Raiklin it appears he is a kook and has no ties to Trump or his campaign yet Raskin and Cariens want voters to think the list is true.
