At the risk of belaboring the obvious, if we had a truly faithful hierarchy, i.e., one whose members hold defense of the Faith as a higher value than sucking up government money, any purported Catholic who publicly supports a person with Harris’ stated policy positions would be instantly and formally excommunicated.
