I didn’t realize that Rocco was a Vatican advisor:
Count the votes over and over again until they came out right. No matter how cynical you are about this pontificate, you are not cynical enough.

Frank and Beans….they just don’t add up.
The path of conversion and reform hasn’t changed. The Mother of Christ walks that path with souls. She assists all the way.
Miraculous medals. Rosary. Stories of the Saints.
What does change is the hearts of men.
Some men don’t take notice as the zeal and love for God has morphed into a self love, ego…that must be fed by inventions, innovations and preceived progress which isn’t God’s. It’s mans.
This is crucial…
Know thyself.
The church is gaining young families and doing so via TLM.
The splits in the mainline Protestant churches has clearly demonstrated that theology by vote is quite the losing cause.
Donald Link is correct. Behold the dissolution of the United Methodist Church. And over what? Homosexual marriage and clergy, the very same things infecting and infesting the Roman Catholic Church –> Fiducia Supplicans.
This is definitely Francis’ MO. He did the same thing in his run-up to Traditiones Custodes— he ‘polled’ the bishops, asking if they were having any problems with TLM-goers. Evidently when the Vatican’s questionnaires were returned, they weren’t negative enough, so they were never disclosed, even in redacted form. Neverless, despite the lack of bishops asking for it, Traditiones Custodes was promulgated. And when most bishops declined to implement Francis’ ban on the TLM, Francis had Cardinal Roche issue a decree declaring that the bishops no longer had their choice in the matter protected by Canon Law, and the decision was reserved to the Holy See. Basically, the bishops were told to shut up and do as they were told by Rome.
So yeah, it’s not a surprise that Francis and his cronies would commission a survey and then ignore the results if they don’t like them. That pattern of dishonesty and hypocrisy is pretty familiar by now.
