Once it (support for abortion on demand) took on religious overtones, you could see the stark shift to a very puritanical system of believers and heretics on the left.

100 percent agree with Josh and CAM. I console myself with the certainty that any cohort preaching abortion, contraception, and “trans” madness, is doomed to fairly rapid extinction. The families that act like families, of whatever demographic classification(s), will prevail. We can fool ourselves, but we can’t fool God.
