The worst part isn’t that Kamala Harris is brainless. The worst part is that otherwise very intelligent and knowledgeable people, some with whom I have worked, gleefully support her and are overjoyed that she will likely be the Democratic candidate. How freaking abysmally stupid can people be?

Saw this on Substack yesterday, and it seems to make sense: The cheat will be massive if she gets the nod and picks someone serious. If she picks a nobody, they are conceding a likely defeat and trying to reduce the collateral damage.
