If he were doing well in the polls, the media and the Dems would still be lying and saying that Biden is fine, and to say otherwise is right wing propaganda.

Reuters is a joke
Biden told Stephanopoulos that he thinks the polls are untrue, fake. Biden’s staff is either lying to him or Biden is in a different reality, I.e., he used to drive a semi, civil rights worker, jailed with Mandela, etc. One of seniors ladies I bring the Eucharist to told me today that she was playing cards with a nice gentleman on the 2nd floor. Her assisted living building only has one floor. I don’t correct her because it would upset her.
Thing is, the democrats are still stuck with him. How a replacement can even get on the ballot in many states is something of a long shot. Looks like the democrats are really reaping they are sowing this time.
Biden says that Trump is a pathological liar.
As the saying goes, it takes one to know one.
Heres one he keeps saying;
Trump said to drink Bleach during Covid…
Biden didn’t have a bad night during the debate.
He’s having a bad life.
He should be very careful when saying that the Lord Almighty would have to come down in order to pull him off the ballot.
Walk lightly Joe.
I am wondering how many dems now regret they did not enter the Presidential primaries earlier this year.
The reason no democrats regret entering into the democrat primaries early this year is because they are not stupid enough to destroy their political futures the way Ron DeSantis did when he tried running against Trump.
Any other candidate would be leading by double digits at this point, but one half of this country just hates Donald Trump and would vote for literally anyone else to keep him out of the White House.

Thanks for the wishcast. We’re all enlightened.
Stating that Ron DeSantis destroyed his political future by being stupid enough to run against the guy he prostituted himself as well as his family (just watch the ad where he dresses his infant son in a MAGA onesie and reads to him from Trump’s book as just one example) out to while that guy is still politically viable and as vindictive as Trump is wishcasting?
Thinking DeSantis has anything close to presidential political IQ…now that would be wishcasting,
Why assume that DeSantis “destroyed” his political future by running against Trump? Did Ronald Reagan destroy HIS political future by running against Nixon in 1968 and Ford in 1976? For that matter did Richard Nixon “destroy” his political future by losing to JFK?
The 1976 GOP Primary was competitive while the 2024 primary was not. Reagan didn’t build the bulk of his political career politically prostituting himself and his family to Ford like DeSantis did with Trump.
Plus, Reagan actually knew how to act on the national stage whereas DeSantis does not.
DeSantis might not be a terribly good national campaigner, but the idea that he has destroyed his political future is beyond foolish. The majority of Florida residents are still quite fond of their Governor and would happily elect him senator of the Sunshine State should he choose to run upon leaving the Governor’s mansion.
There’s no way DeSantis stands a chance at beating either Scott or Rubio in a senatorial primary. And neither Scott or Rubio show any signs of going anywhere soon.
“And neither Scott or Rubio show any signs of going anywhere soon.”
Actually, Rubio wanted to retire from the Senate last go-round. He had to be talked into running by the party because he was the only candidate who they thought could win.
Rubio headfaked back in 2016. He’s not talking that crap now, is he? Nor has he given any indication of wanting to step down since. Besides, if either he or Scott left, DeSantis would be far from a shoo in. Gubernatorial elections have no real predictive value in national races. That he trailed Trump by FORTY POINTS in Florida is proof positive of that.
Furthermore, I think DeSantis has such an inflated view of himself that he would view the Senate as being beneath him.
“… if either he or Scott left, DeSantis would be far from a shoo in. Gubernatorial elections have no real predictive value in national races”
Greg, It’s the exact same voters whether he runs for Governor or Senator! He kept our businesses open when half the country was closed, and he sued the feds when Biden tried to get us all fired for not jabbing up. If Bob Graham was popular, this guy is twice as popular. Floridians may prefer Trump to DeSantis as the Presidential candidate, but don’t take that as a rejection of our Governor … It’s more about wanting to see the Democrats’ heads explode come November.
Rubio isn’t up for re-election for another couple years, but his heart doesn’t seem in it. But who knows, anything could happen between now and then … Scott isn’t a shoo-in to keep his seat either, and his term is up this year.
In any case, my point is that DeSantis would be elected to the Senate if he ran. I never suggested he’d primary a sitting Republican.
We don’t see the arrogance in him that you do. He ran because the party and his advisors told him he had to strike while the iron was hot. Who knew the Democrats’ lawfare tactics would give Trump such a big boost?
The exact same Florida voters that overwhelmingly would have choose Trump over DeSantis. I find it hard to believe DeSantis would fare any better against either incumbent senator, particularly after his embarrassing presidential campaign.
DeSantis also threatened businesses during the Commie Cootie Craze.

Anyone even half awake knew the lawfare was going to help Trump at least during the primary phase. Unless DeSantis somehow obtains some political street smarts, he’s so done there will be nothing left to stick a fork in.
Trump isn’t about to run for Florida Senator, and as I said, I never suggested DeSantis would primary sitting Republican Senators. But that doesn’t mean he’s destroyed his political career … There’s a big difference between destroying your career and not being a shoo-in. He remains very popular here, even among restaurant owners who were allowed to remain open for business (albeit with some additional rules) while restauranteurs in other states were declaring bankruptcy.
