Biden is learning what it feels to be a Republican and facing a hostile media. “Doctor” Jill obviously believes that saying no long enough is a viable strategy. I wonder. I think her sock puppet is nearing collapse. Democrats in Congress are turning against him and big donors, the life blood of Democrat campaigns, are stopping the cash spigot. I stand by my prediction that he drops out no later than July 15.
Problem is, try replacing with someone other than the first woman veep of color and the democrats will regret dumping Biden, as bad as he is. For that reason mainly, as well as the fact getting a replacement on the ballot in many states looks like a no go at this point, is why I still think they are stuck with Biden.
If I understand right, he’s still not the official nominee until the convention, so if they replace him by the convention, getting the replacement on the ballot isn’t a problem. Right?
That said, any candidate other than Kamala would be one the voters didn’t have a say on.
The nominee is official whenever the DNC decrees it. They make their own rules. Where there are issues with state ballot access laws, the DNC has to work them out, but I expect few if any states will balk at doing what the DNC wants.
By the way, a friend forwarded this to me yesterday. As some online pundits love to say, “read the whole thing.” The Harris disinformation campaign is ginning up for the battle.

so if they replace him by the convention, getting the replacement on the ballot isn’t a problem.
My oldest, who is our politics watcher, thinks they want to avoid this, for fear of a 68 repeat. Remember, there are some pretty radical elements in the Democrats, not the least significant being the anti-Israel contingent. I think he’s right. I can see that group alone causing problems if there is a chance to push an outside candidate at the convention.
I can’t wait to see Chic crapo burning in August. 1968 was so much fun it should be repeated. The kill count will be insane as the cops standby watching the chaos ensue. Go Dems Go.
My guess is that kingpins are contriving a Torricelli swap. It’s a matter of getting the big donors, factional bosses, and characters like the Clintons and the Obamas agreed on who. The violent and contumacious elements in the Democratic Party are largely rent-a-crowd, so shouldn’t be a problem. (An exception to that rule might be the Arab revanchists).
