The woke religion is beginning to crumble.

Good. A waste of oxygen.
The sooner this DEI crap ends the better. It’s a hostage situation. (Vanguard & Blackrock.)

Reformed Baptist preacher Voddie Baucham addresses this issue. Why is it that virulently anti-Catholic preachers like him and rabid, irascible John MacArthur have the courage to speak words like these from the pulpit to politicians, journalists, and others in positions of power, but our own Roman Catholic priests and bishops who supposedly have the fulness of the Sacraments (which those preacher boys demonstrably don’t) constantly ingratiate themselves with today’s godless woke culture of social justice. As far as I am concerned, one of the worst plagues to infest and infest the Church is the false gospel of social justice, the common good, and peace at any price. Christ came to save souls. The Great Commission in Matthew 28:16-20 isn’t about diversity, equity, and inclusion. It’s about rescuing souls from the eternal fires of hell.

Amen, LQC. Concerning the “why” of the US bishops’ collective abandonment of the Great Commission, I can only guess that “follow the money” may be the most important key. Of course, there was already apostasy spreading rapidly through the hierarchy after The Council™️, which must have helped to pave the way for the great sellout to government funding of SJW projects like “resettling refugees.” And we dare not offend the source of the grift by actually preaching the truth, and living it. It’s all part of the same story, I believe.
Not to belabor the point, but today’s Daily Stoic by Ryan Holiday (which uses excerpts from Seneca, Epictetus, Aurelius, Cato, etc. for each of the days of the year) speaks directly to our post-modern, neo-pagan’s cultural fascination with “equity.”

I likely irritated some DEI adherents by having shared this philosophical consideration.
BTW, there is only ONE reason for DEI ideology: envy, covetousness. And isn’t there a Commandment against that?
God bless Millei and others.
I’m sure the momentarily vanquished will not just roll over- but try to regain footing. Laity around the world have a huge part to play in this struggle.
