Community Notes gets the Burn of the Day award. That’s something you don’t see everyday.
“Black Lives Matter” actually means something proximate to “Black impunity” (in addition to meaning “Build Large Mansions”). The objection is that police officers, being deplorables, should not have authority over the aristocratic stratum. Black chauvinists fancy they have aristocratic status by birth while white faculty types fancy they confer status and deplorables have no authority over their pets.
(st.) George Floyd syndrome.
While the statue’s of noble men are taken down new replacements are being elevated.
Heroic are the hoodlums who wouldn’t submit to authority when confronted. The rise of Anarchy is fueled by the likes of congresswoman Cori Bush.
If I recall correctly both Michael Brown and George Floyd were on video in the stores committing crimes. Thugs both of them.
It’s hard for our enlightened times to mock Caligula for making his horse Incitatus of senatorial rank when we erect statues to someone who everybody knows was a drug addict and criminal. There’s a through-line of some sort, I suspect.
