He is elderly.
Having said that, I observe that many who have had certain novel medical treatments are either constantly sick or have many unusual symptoms. John Campbell, PhD on YT has been discussing some interesting stats lately.

Time grows short for Jorge the Heretic. May he repent before it’s too late. That’s the best I can say.

DJH, it would be interesting to know how many, ahem, vaccine jabs PF has received.

The next jab he needs is down the stairs while in the chair. A kinda Epstein way to go. The Swiss guard will just have to go out for doughnuts or something. In my mind I can see OJ bouncing down the steps and over the railing ala the Naked Gun. That would be the highlight of his time in Rome. Go out with a bang.

Frank:
My pastor is proudly boosted, but I’m thinking only one booster. (I find that a bit odd since his best buddy is a proud pure blood.) He’s had Covid a couple of times, but otherwise seems in good health.
.
I cannot imagine Pope Francis having any “pure blood” friends, and has likely had all the boosters the Italian Gov’t recommends. Still the man is elderly and likely has been a fairly frail person for years.
.
On the other hand, DH just got off the tennis court with an 89 year old who plays tennis at the intermediate level. DH and I suspect he is a “pure blood” but not entirely sure. This man has made some vague references, and his younger family members have a fair number of “pure bloods” in the mix.
.
Very happy DH and I didn’t jump on the bandwagon with this.

Not a fan of the term “pure blood”. Are we implying that those who took the vaccine out of necessity or through coercion, or even choice have tainted blood..?

It’s demeaning to a person human dignity.

Ezebelle,
.
I agree “pure blood” has a certain snarkiness to it. (I am not sure who first used the term). Having been made to feel as if I was (am) a leprous grandma killer for being unvaccinated against Covid, I’m not too sympathetic. It is ironic I am able to give blood (the blood bank is constantly pleading for me to give), but I am unable to be a volunteer driver of blood products since I am unvaccinated and may give someone Covid.
.
Regardless of whether a person took the vaccine voluntarily or involuntarily, that person may still be harboring problems. We simply do not know yet. We do know that vaccinated people are at higher risk for cardiac issues and blood clots.
.
My son (boosted, without seeming to be harmed) is a regular blood/plasma donor and I do wonder about the dangers that may be lurking. At this point, probably not, especially since he seems to have come out of it just fine.
.
The truth is we simply don’t have all the data yet. Or worse, we do, and are not being told. (I suspect the latter is true, sadly.)

Ezabelle,

I have your name spelled wrong. For that I apologize.

No problem DJH.

I’m vaccinated. As is my husband. We had no choice at the time. My children are not. I drew the line at my children. They were all underage. But believe me it was contentious that they were not vaccinated. The other day my 16 year old volunteered with some classmates at a St Vincent De Paul food truck which serves meals to the homeless in a western suburb. She had to either be vaccinated or do a Covid test 24hours prior. Obviously she chose the latter. I can’t believe the Covid-monster is still being used as a control tool.

I guess the reason I’m not a fan of the term “pure blood” is that in 2013 I was diagnosed and treated for a blood cancer- Lymphona- with a 5 year old, a 2 year old and a 6 month old to look after. This was before the jab.

There are many things which we are exposed to today besides the jab which can make us ill. I do agree that the vaccination was forced upon us with no proper testing. And I don’t doubt it’s caused health problems for some. But I also understand it would have been difficult to deal with the animosity you received for not being vaccinated.

In the end we have to keep things into perspective- there are many environmental, genetic and lifestyle factors which come into play when somebody falls ill. And I guess you don’t view the jab as something as threatening when you have been ill prior, when there wasn’t a Covid vaccine in sight.
