Today is the feast of the first apparition of Mary at Lourdes to Bernadette.
The Blessed Virgin Mary loved us as herself from the very first moment of her existence by her Creator. In Mary’s perfect love for humankind, Mary gave us the Miraculous Medal with the words: “Oh, Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to you.”
The Blessed Virgin Marys’ soul, ever virgin, was created by God in original innocence, as are all souls created by God in original innocence. That is why all souls in Justice belong to God, our Creator.
Without the darkness of concupiscence, Mary had fully informed consent to give to her Creator. Mary asked for perpetual virginity. God granted Mary her desire: To serve God for all eternity in body and soul in perfect virginity. Mary fulfilled the law and the prophets to love God and her neighbor as herself. Mary loved God with her whole being. Mary loved each and every person in humankind as Mary loved herself; perfectly.
There was never an instance in Mary’s life that Mary was not full of grace with love for God and God’s children, the human race.
Mary became the Immaculate Conception in perfect innocence, virginity and love for God and God’s children, the human race.
When the Archangel Gabriel came Mary said: “I am the handmaid of the Lord. Be it done to me according to your word.”
Mary told Elizabeth: “My soul doth magnify the Lord”
At the wedding feast Mary told the servants: “Do whatever He tells you.”
At the Crucifixion, Jesus acknowledged Mary’s love for humankind by giving His mother to humankind.
