I disagree. It’s not all that hard to pray they slip and fall hard enough to knock some sense into them.

Thanks to Mother Angelica for some basic common sense. If our hope is that someone suffer we are probably only judging them under the guise of “prayer”; much like the pharisee who voiced words of prayer but in truth was only praying to himself. Sincere prayer asks for God’s blessing and mercy upon another whether we think they deserve it or not. It’s up to God to effectuate that blessing however He sees fit.

When my enemies vex me, I often pray that God will correct them only vigorously enough for them to turn from their error.
And then say the same prayer for myself!
