Trump Wins the Iowa Caucuses

No surprise.  There is no chance that Trump will not be the Republican standard bearer.  Due to Biden’s misrule, the GOP will go into November more unified than any time since Reagan’s second term run in 1984.  De Santis will soon bow out, probably after New Hampshire, Haley likely after she gets shellacked in her home state of South Carolina.  The Trump v. Biden rematch is on, unless the Grim Reaper casts an Aces and Eights vote.

Curious.

So the hand is delt and Good Catholic is pushing up daisies.

Giggles is in automatically or will the DNC allow a primary of it’s own?

Philip, the DNC can just hand anyone they want the nomination at the convention. No primaries and no debates. I believe that’s the plan.

It won’t be giggles … but I imagine more than a few have their hopes set on a different African American woman. (God help us, I think she’d beat Trump too)

She is very popular. Maybe her husband will come out of the closet…the Antichrist… just before October.

Sad thing is.. even if did, the votes would still pour in for his wife.

The Democrats will cheat. And if by some miracle Trump wins, the Democrats will tear this country apart before accepting such a win.

Yes, Michelle Obama is the Democrats’ ace in the hole. An evil woman just like her evil husband. But then again, the Democrats are evil. Sadly, too many Republicans aren’t far behind in the evil category.

I think deSantis would be the optimal candidate. I wish Trump had elected to remain in retirement. He’s been treated abominably by the legal system, and that demands rectification. He has certain talents and strengths. He’s just reached the time in his life where no one should be running for a public office more demanding than a small town municipal council or school board. (I don’t quite understand either his exceptional appeal or the neuralgic reaction to him; I’m going to guess that they cancel each other out). I’d like to see a Trumpish program pursued by someone who is more deft in dealing with the bureaucracy and with our odious judiciary.

She has never liked politics, or people for that matter.

Lately she’s been making comments about how concerned she is for the nation regarding 2024 … Her tone has definitely changed and she’s starting to sound like she’s willing to be our reluctant savior. (Oh joy!)

Politics is a profession like any others, and a Presidential Race is no place for a rank amateur unless they are a victorious general or have the name Donald Trump.

Biden proved a Democrat could win a Presidential election while hiding in their basement.

Fetterman and Biden also prove that plenty of Dems will elect a virtual puppet in the name of the Party.

I’ve not understood the people who fancy Michelle Obama would be a candidate. She’s never been career-oriented and lasted about three years in the legal profession. From 1991 to 2008 the positions she held were all zero-marginal-product patronage jobs which eventually functioned to launder the bribes. The one thing she’s known to take an interest in is decorative arts. She has what she wants now, which is an ample income and three handsome homes.

Never underestimate the cult of personality to advance a nothing burger into office.
Barracks papers? Did they ever produce them?

A woman president?

It doesn’t matter to many a voter what experience they possess or don’t possess… in this era.

Keeping documents secret…
WASHINGTON — The Obama administration in its final year in office spent a record $36.2 million on legal costs defending its refusal to turn over federal records under the Freedom of Information Act, according to an Associated Press analysis of new U.S. data that also showed poor performance in other categories measuring transparency in government.

I have known people who will vote for a woman because she is a woman Unbelieveable.

I wish to apologize.
I was going from a memory that isn’t worth a hill a beans. The papers that I was trying to recall had more to do with his college creditability…

The secrecy of his last year as president was NOT my primary objection. It was his university claim… that was fact checked to be a bogus claim.

I’m sorry.

Judy Sheindlin (aka Judge Judy) wrote an op-ed for Daily Mail. She makes some valid points. I’m surprised she is not a staunch Democrat as she endorses Nikki Haley in the article. She is brutal regarding Biden (deservedly) and clearly does not like Trump.. she makes some valid points in take article but I’m not an American so I stand corrected if some of her points are far off.

If you are a Democrat who has never voted for a non-Democrat, get over it. That’s no reason to return mediocre leadership to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue for four more years.

DeSantis is proof that the best governors do not always make good national candidates. DeSantis is a horrible national candidate. He completely lacks the political acumen to be president. I wonder who convinced him it would be a good idea to run against the guy to whose backsides he had his lips implanted, even exploiting his own children in the process.
