Charles takes green blather too seriously. He’s also been beset with problem people (Prince Andrew, Meghan Markle, Prince Henry taking counsel from Meghan Markle, and, long ago, Diana Frances Spencer).

Charles will never hold a candle to his late mother. He knows it. We all know it. Charles has always been work shy. I’m predicting he passes it onto Will in a couple of years when he realises the “work” involved..

And for heavens sake, don’t allow Camellia to wear the authentic family jewelry. Faux stones only!

There has been no indication of that whatsoever.

I don’t think he’s going to pick fights with Camilla to please the peanut gallery. In any case, the dame’s never been appearance oriented. (See her haircut).

She’s never been appearance oriented.

Well …
Maybe when she was twenty. (?)

The Royals. Geesh.
Diana exhibited more class and sincerity than many a so-called Royal.

Princess Grace, a close 2nd.
Camellia?
Barf.

work shy”

HAAaaa! 😀

This is the most charitable way I’ve ever heard this affliction described.

From 1976 until her death, she had periods (verified in correspondence and by people who have gone on the record) where she was not on speaking terms with (1) her mother, (2) her stepmother, (3) the younger of her sisters and said sister’s whole family (even though they lived on the same crown estate property), (4) her brother. Among the guests at William’s wedding in 2011 was a nanny she’d insisted on firing. After she separated from their father, he hired a different nanny she couldn’t fire, so she dropped little cat turds to the media about this woman. She had three known paramours between 1986 and her death (one of whom bears a creepy resemblance to her brother). The Queen in 1981 assigned her an experienced lady-in-waiting to train her in how to conduct herself during public appearances, and she refused to co-operate (“This is boring, Sue”). A better description of her was offered by Richard John Neuhaus: “The confused woman best known for trashing the institution which made her famous”.
