First broadcast on The Twilight Zone on June 1, 1962.  An elderly professor, Ellis Fowler, Donald Pleasance, being forced into retirement, contemplates suicide on Christmas Eve fearing he has wasted his life.  God sends some messengers to show how wrong he is.

One of the very best episodes, IMO, of a series that was loaded with quality writing and acting. Great time to revisit it.
