For double irony, Reagan wanted to disband the Department of Education.
For triple irony, the Secretary of Education tried to teach something that was not true.

I don’t know which to believe: that he was so ignorant as to use a quote he did not research or that he was so deceitful as to use it divorced from it’s meaning.

Not my favorite Reagan quotation. A country benefits conscientiously designed systems for recruitment and promotion withing the military, the uniformed civil service, and the plainclothes civil service as well as conscientiously designed systems for employee discipline and employee compensation therein. It also benefits from a secure and sensible understanding of what is the proper remit of public agencies and government corporations and what is not. The mentality incorporated in the quote militates against devoting any attention to either task.

I was just thinking about government.

In communist government, the state owns the people.
In republican government the people own the state.
When the 9th Circuit Court told the parents of students in the public schools that when their child crossed the threshhold of the public school, the parents no longer had any say over their children. Kidnapping by the state/government. The state owns our children and the people.
When the Court says that the Second Amendment does not exist, as Merrick Garland has promised and that self-defense is no longer a plea in a court of law, as in England self-defense is no longer a plea in a court of law, the state owns the people.
Religion  is man’s response to the gift of Faith from God. When the state says man cannot have a relationship with Jesus Christ or “their Creator”, the state pwns God and man in spite of our Declaration of Independence.
When the Supreme Court tells a woman that she can own her unborn child and end its life, the Supreme Court owns the people.
Jesus Christ as a citizen of the world is denied access to the public square, the state owns the people.
Pharoah said to Moses: “The slaves are mine, what they own is mine.”
Joshua said: “God made man. Man made slaves.”
The state owns the people.

When the Supreme Court in INDWELLERS told the state that the people living in the National Parks were free to live in the National Parks the people own the state.
When the Supreme Cout says that a proprietor does not have to associate with sodomites, lesbians and transgendered individuals, the Supreme Court affirms the people’s personal freedom to peaceable assembly.
Jesus Christ as a citizen of the world has every civil right to be in the public square and the public domain in thought, word and deed. The Hyspostatic Union of Jesus Christ as true God and true man, the Revelation of God to man has all power and freedom given to Christ by God, His Father, as God and as man.

It is imperative that good government encourage minor persons who are minor citizens to practice and express their First Amendment civil rights, civil rights that are unalienable, civil rights that are the gift from God, civil rights that profess the sovereignty of the personhood of each and every citizen who institutes our government and who constitute our Constitutional Posterity. Our Constitutional Posterity are acknowledged in our Preamble to our Constitution.
Invoking “their Creator” for success and prosperity and the deliverance from evil is the heartfelt prayer of every individual starting with our Founding Fathers and every one who pledged his Life, his Fortune and his sacred Honor as he signed our Declaration of Independence.
Unalienable, God given civil rights of “their Creator” endowed in Freedom offend the atheist.
The Supreme Court made the atheist’s offense a national problem, removing the citizens’ freedom and unalienable civil rights from the people. The Supreme Court subjected our freedom to the offense of the atheist.
Honk if you love Jesus is the terminal hell for the atheist.
Does The Supreme Court read and understand our Founding Principles or must “We, the people” fight another war for independence?
The monks were sentenced to 17 years in prison for praying the rosary outside of an abortion clinic. Joan Andrews Bell was imprisoned in the state of Florida for opposing abortion in spite of our Eighth Amendment that prohibits cruel and unusual punishment. If this is inconsequential, then Biden, Pelosi and Merrick Garland need to do some inconsequential time in prison. The American gulag needs to be eradicated and freedom reinstated.
I am sure Biden will agree.
Tell the monks to sue for the violation of their Eighth amendment civil right.
Viva Christo Rey.
