I hope the intent was not to compare Kharuba’s actions with Custer, a vainglorious incompetent whose singular accomplishment during the Civil War nearly got him and his men killed and finally did so at Little Big Horn.
Custer messed up at the Little Big Horn Don, but he was an effective cavalry commander during the Civil War as his rise from Second Lieutenant to Major General of Volunteers indicated. The video was used because of Custer’s contention that you can take glory with you when you go.
