Bobi oldest dog ever according to Wikipedia died recently at age of 31 +years. He was a mountain breed who was born and raised in rural Portugal. Human food that was soaked in water to remove spices was all he ate. Bodi was what one might call free range as he was never on a lease nor tied to a line.
He is survived by his human family and four feline friends. The vet attributed his longevity , 217 dog years, to clean, rural livimg. [
