I’d say ‘whimsical’ rather than stupid.
What makes it even more “stupid” is that the ladder and his position on the ladder is incorrect.
His body should be on the other side, where the rungs are located….but that’s just a mistake on the artist part. The mural is schlocky.
The attempt at mercy winning the game would make more sense if this pontificate wasn’t so rigid, ambiguous and loving. Loving the homosexuals with authentic Church teachings instead of false grey mutterings.
Get real! There’s absolutely no way Francis could win a game of tic-tac-toe!
I think he would manage to lose playing TTT solitaire.
