Merit.

In an ever expanding grove of lemon trees it’s the only sweetness that I can find to draw upon.
Merit. God will not interfere with man’s free will.
Man brings a hell upon earth, or lemons, and others must decide to act or not in relationship to the effects caused by the hellions.

War, or lemonade production, is a consequence of free will acts.

Merit is a byproduct of those individuals who choose to make lemonade. Some individuals might be satisfied with the bitterness of living in a lemon world, void of heroism, courage and love of neighbor. A place where perpetual acts of violence and hatred are unencumbered.
Basically a hell on earth.

Ecclesiastes states that there are seasons under the SON. And the Son sees everything and knows perfectly the heart of each man. The sweetness or merit, is made from the blood of heroes who choose to repel the forces of evil that only wish to cover the earth in bitterness.

I couldn’t, nor would I wish too, imagine the consequences if Americans did not come to the aid of England during the Nazis campaign.

Where is the merit in allowing hell to flourish?

War?

Thank God for those peacemakers who stand in harms way, fighting for peace to return. Yes, killing an enemy who’s mission is serving a tyrannical God. Not a merciful Father.

Ah, yes. The familiar “blind pacifism” dodge of the totalitarian Left. “We’re only for peace but we have to take strong action against those enemies of peace over there. Once we wipe them off the face of the earth we will have peace.”

Remember Jesus and the money-changers. Do not expect peace from me if you befoul my Father’s house.

WWII resolved it? I saw President Biden last night. He said we can’t be like the world back in the day that stood by and did nothing to stop the Holocaust. I’m not sure what he meant, but it didn’t seem to include WWII.

In my experience, publicly declared pacifism is rarely an earnest desire for peace, but rather a thin veneer of morality to hide cowardice and a cudgel to drive ulterior motives.

Response to Jorge’s unilateral peace:

Yes, I value peace.
I just value self defense more.
I’ll read my letter of excommunication when I get back from the fight.
If I don’t come back, I’ll take it up with your boss.
Viva Christo Rey!

Jorge refused the title “Vicar of Christ” Prince of Peace, Jorge wants peace from the faithful and utopia as well and we had better give it to him. As soon as Jorge sends the Swiss Guard back to Switzerland and Ghandi sends his two well armed guards away.
