The Labour government is out in New Zealand and Australian voters decisively have rejected the Voice to Parliament which would have given aboriginal Australians some sort of elected committee by aborigines who could make representations to Parliament on matters affecting aborigines. The proposal strikes me as woke nonsense since any citizens or groups can already lobby Parliament in any case on any issue they wish.
Common sense had a good day yesterday in the southern hemisphere.
Indeed Don. 60-40. The Voice of devision has been crushed. The next best thing would be for Albanese to resign.
Congrats to NZ. It’s was a political bloodbath for Labour. Maybe now Hipkins will have enough time on his hands to work out the answer to “what is a woman?”
