Humph.
When we dropped the Atom Bomb on Berlin and Munich many Americans were perplexed. So too the German shepherds. They were pissed. How could they shepherd without any Germans?
Nothing surprises me anymore.
A vast number of people can’t define a woman, so very soon,
I’m expecting to hear that the moon is indeed made of cheese. No wonder the recent global interests in getting to the moon.🫣
Maybe the Japanese who bombed Pearl Harbor self-identified as Germans?
Who am I to judge?
Next thing you know this old SNL sketch will be used as an educational documentary (begins at the 44:03 mark):

“General Lee was nobody’s fool. I remember he said to the troops, “Boys, ask not what your country can do for you, ’cause the only thing we have to fear is fear itself. I have a dream!” So when Lincoln heard that, he was like “I’d better hightail it to Charleston because it’s time for one of my Gettysburg Addresses.”
Elaine Krewer.
Lol.
This all started with thenew math which was a breakthrough. Now, unfortunately, it’s the new history which is nothing more than a breakdown.
Whenever I am in a blue mood, I reread “Non Campus Mentis”, a collection of college student history bloopers by a Canadian professor, and usually laugh loud enough to annoy the rest of my family. As a retired science teacher I have a collection of a few hundred of my own. My best for history was a 9th grader garbling a quote from Herodotus, who wrote: “Circumcision guides men; men do not guide circumcision.”
FWIW, the link to the book is either wrong, or Amazon has pulled the book.
Thanks SC. I inserted a new link. I suspect games are being played because of all the negative media about the book.
