An impeachment is always about raw political theater. The Texas Senators who will be voting on the trial of the ludicrous impeachment of Texas AG Ken Paxton realize that, and Paxton’s attorneys have been doing an effective job as to what a nothing burger this whole case is. It warms my heart to see an attorney who actually understands what a powerful weapon effective and slashing cross examination can be.

Not yet, apparently. The Bush/Cornyn wing of the Texas GOP still has most of the money, unfortunately. They are very unhappy that Paxton spilled their rice bowl by defeating George P in the primary last time around.
Earlier today I read that 6 Republicans still won’t commit to an acquittal.
