Agree here – criticism where criticism is warranted and praise where it is deserved. I don’t think you can find fault with the Pope recognising and encouraging a group of young Catholics in a predominately Orthodox country. I wouldn’t expect anything less from any Pope.
No one would mistake me for a fan of Francis, but I agree with Don and Ezabelle: Francis was doing what a Pope should do by recognizing and encouraging these Catholic youths.
Well, it does seem that he doesn’t mind praising old fashioned tradition when it comes to some issues?
I’m sure he’ll be telling American kids to be proud of our visionary founding fathers and their grand experiment soon too

Body and soul at conception are joined together. Abortion and homicide put body and soul asunder.
Former President Obama said that we are no longer a Christian nation. If as a citizen Obama had read our Founding Principles he would have known that our nation is founded on Christianity and Christian Principles.
“their Creator” created all men equal. “And for the support of this Declaration with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence…”
In lust for power men do really stupid things…or rather fail to do the correct things.
