Prof. Turley seven years ago could have been called an academic establishmentarian whose remarks on public affairs seemed to assume the political culture was much the same as it was when he entered academe in 1987, hence a long run of rather twee criticisms of Trump. He’s been growing more appalled in small increments. The twits ActBlue recruited to comment on his boards have grown increasing gassy and abusive over the years in response.
Typical liberal hogwash. If Trump had abandoned due process he’d still be in the White House now. Something I admire about the man is that he seems to know which rules are Constitutional and which are mere tradition. It’s our opposition that uses the rules it likes and illegally ignores or breaks the ones it doesn’t. When it is said that conservatives are the party of law and order it doesn’t just mean we want to jail bad guys. It means that we understand that law applied unequally is one of the worst goes of equality and order.
