Pope Francis sounding a lot like Joe Stalin. Thank the Lord that Pope Francis does not have a Gulag he can send people to. To a true ideologue like the Pope the fault cannot be in what he supports. The fault must be in enemies preventing the glorious success of what he champions. Like Communism, Vatican II is always going to work next time.

Pope Francis reminds me of the “Spirit of Vatican II” leftists who cannot cite anything from the text of Vatican II to buttress their claims.
Pope Lamebrain the First doesn’t have a clue what the mission of the Church is.
They remind me a lot of our fed govt. why is that?

It’s sad to have lived through the destructive effects of post V2 applications, but worse still is to witness a movement to return to the vomit.

I really don’t understand all this hatred of the Latin Mass. Why not let people worship in Latin if they wish, or Koine Greek, the language in which the New Testament was written? Or Aramaic, the language in which Christ celebrated the first Eucharist? Pope Francis’ hatred of Latin just makes no sense unless what he hates is orthodoxy and orthopraxis, as we all suspect is the case.
As I have often said, if I were Pope, then you would all be learning Latin and Koine Greek.
PS, speaking of Latin, I keep a Biblia Sacra Vulgata on my kitchen table that I read during Morning Prayer at 4 am when I rise from sleep. Well, the grandkids with all their screaming and mayhem came over this weekend. The older one, Elianna, a four year old, asked me to read from the “green book” this afternoon (that’s the Vulgata). We read about Esther from her kids Bible last night. So after lunch we went through John chapter 1 in the Latin. She undertood not a word. But I am sure Pope Francis, were he to know, would excommunicate me.
