South Africa’s EFF leader Julius Malema chanting “Shoot to kill, kill the Boer, kill the farmer” to nearly 100,000 cheers at FNB Stadium.
Highly doubt any sitting US rep will condemn this—certainly not the Biden administration—but @elonmusk has.pic.twitter.com/nw7GghJZKG

During the war against the prior South African Government, the main group, and current governing party, the African National Congress, had many charming songs, including one calling for the murder of all Boers. Nelson Mandela, when he came to power in South Africa, soft pedaled all of this, realizing that he needed the expertise of white South Africans or the country would collapse. So the myth was embraced around the world that South African was a post racial state. In fact it was a state governed by one party, heavily titled to Leftist nonsense in economics, but under Mandela a smiley face was put on this, and Mandela was smart enough to realize that too much racism against whites would kill the goose still laying some golden eggs.
Mandela died in 2013. His successors lacked his wisdom, and South Africa is a basket case. Factionalism has arisen, most notably the Economic Freedom Fighters under Julius Malema, former President of the Youth League of the African National Congress, who was expelled from the party in 2012. His solution to the woes of South Africa is expropriation and nationalization, under girded by overt white racism. The EEF are the third largest group in the South African parliament and the ANC has moved left in response
In South Africa we are seeing implementation of the old joke: What did Socialists use before candles? Electricity.
Nelson divorced his first wife so he could marry Winnie, the Mother of the the Nation and a true monster who was guilty of many murders including the beating death of 14 year old Stompie Moeketsi. Not exactly George and Martha Washington, yet they likely were moderates compared to what Julius Malema has in store for the country. Today’s South Africa is a cautionary tale for anyone espousing leftist views on race here in the United States. It’s kind of like the ghost of Christmas future for any country going down the same path, as we currently are, and its ongoing descent into chaos will be ignored at our peril.
Malema was head of the ANC youth caucus if I’m not mistaken, not the party president.
Intelligent people understand that the wealth of a country is largely in the form of human capital and that prosperity is promoted by creating laws and institutions which allow the efflorescence of human capital. Malema is a dumb thug-wannabe whose response to other people’s prosperity is gib-me-dat and his party’s program amounts to mass theft. It’s regrettable he has any constituency at all. Let’s hope his constituency is tapped-out at 11%.

Get a grip. Blacks account for 13% of the population and about 7% of human capital. They’re in no danger of running anything but a decaying municipality. The black population in this country as a terrible political culture with features not replicated among other black populations in the western hemisphere. However, your problem is white leftists, in whose psyche blacks (or caricatures of blacks) occupy a curious space do bizarre and destructive things to laws and institutions in order to distribute patronage to blacks. Please note the demographics of the congressional districts ‘represented’ by Ilhan Omar and Ayanna Pressley. Blacks didn’t put those two in office.
Whether intentionally or unintentionally, you misread my comment Art. I said nothing about “blacks” nor did I infer anything about “blacks”. My comment was solely about “anyone espousing leftist views on race here in the United States”. With all due respect, your “get a grip” take is totally unwarranted.

ANC Youth League. I will correct the post.
Nelson divorced his first wife so he could marry Winnie, the Mother of the the Nation and a true monster who was guilty of many murders including the beating death of 14 year old Stompie Moeketsi.
Mandela was smart enough to divorce murderous Winnie two years after he became President of South Africa in 1994. They had been separated since 1992.

No, it’s warranted. Today’s South Africa isn’t a ‘cautionary tale’ in regard to the United States. We have other problems. South Africa is a cautionary tale is in regard to racial chauvinism, so there isn’t much point in this mooing you weren’t talking about blacks. Who do you think is running South Africa into the ground and why do you think they’re doing it?
In this country, racial chauvinism is unsightly and episodically destructive but only effective outside certain venues because of the malicious stupidity of professional-managerial class twits (few of whom are black).
“Blacks account for 13% of the population and about 7% of human capital. They’re in no danger of running anything but a decaying municipality.”
They are also, in some of those decaying municipalities (e.g., Chicago) being equaled or outnumbered by Hispanics, at a pace that is quickening due to the current administration’s open borders policy.
That is why we hear a lot of “people of color” nonsense, trying to dragoon Hispanics, Asians, Muslims, etc into permanent arms of the Democrat party like the blacks. Currently that strategy seems to be breaking down/
It’s breaking down because the US is still a melting pot. Intermarriage has and will break the demon crat lie!
“Persons of color”, “colored people”, it’s just a different tack from a party that has always defined itself as racist.
