Barr auditioned for the position of Attorney-General because he was afraid of what an authentic reformer would do to the department given Rod Rosenstein’s complicity with Andrew Weismann’s self-licking-ice-cream-cone scheme to indict Trump for obstructing Weismann’s obstruction investigation. That task out of the way, he played Mr. Magoo. (While we’re at it, Barr’s wife and Robert Mueller’s wife are friends. Barr knew about Mueller’s mental impairment).
