Of course mass shootings that get media attention are basically a rounding error when it comes to homicides. Most of the 20,000 homicides each year in this country are a byproduct of criminal activity, with much of it centered in blue urban areas. Most homicides involving firearms are committed with pistols. Rifles are used in about 500 homicides annually. The problem of firearm violence in our society is largely an urban problem, often tied in with the drug trade in black and hispanic communities. The only major policy initiative I can think of from the Left in the past few years in regard to urban crime is to defund the police, and to set up a revolving door in our judicial system for perpetrators.

Well played, Don!
Notice, both of those gun toting countries are also famous for well defended BORDERS.
