Revolting. It makes your skin crawl. I hope and pray this backfires colossally. Maybe round the lot of them and send the perverts out to sea for good. Honestly it’s vile. I’ve seen it in MSM and it’s just revolting every time.
It’s laughably awful. But yet that is the predicament they find themselves in. Recruiting sends a message to the potential recruit and reflects back to the enemy; a beacon highlighting the essence of the population and its resolve. But this generation wants virtue signaling, not odes to patriotism and military might. So they have to appeal to the recruit in a manner that shows the military mission aligns with their (bizarre to this old guy) world view. And all it does is highlight to our adversaries how pathetically weak we have become and how effective their information campaign has worked.
“This bullshit” is precisely why those areas that used to be reliable recruiting grounds are drying up. That, and the lost sons from pointless wars.
I think we should reinstitute the draft. But start with pilot programs in the 10 richest congressional districts in the nation. Time for the best to show us the way.
No deferment for college and deferment for men with kids only after number two. Members of the draft boards to consist only of combat veterans.

I don’t think sexual freakishness was the problem for Hitler. He didn’t like the networks of “boyfriends” that he feared would interfere with his control of the NSDAP. That’s probably Putin’s reason for stomping on them as well (and I must doubt Xi has favorable views of homosexuality either). It’s fear of competition, not morals.

I guess the people who ran Selective Service for 33 years and the people who put strict upper limits on the age of those they’d accept for enlistment over the succeeding 30 years just did not know what they were talking about.
“Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” was their foot in the door. I was in when that was instituted. The thought of some man scoping out my body in the barracks or one of the common showers was revolting to me. Ofcourse! That would have been horrible. I would assume that you probably had no choice in the matter and have had to tolerate a working environment where people’s agendas and natures were concealed, which would have left you and many with a certain level of perpetual anxiety. But they didn’t care with “don’t ask don’t tell”. As long as the perverted minority had their wishes catered for. I wish only that the silent majority which were affected by this policy banded together and called it for what it was- an unsafe working environment and a breach of an individuals workplace safety. And sued.
