My 20-year old niece can’t find work as a carpenter in NW Illinois despite being union certified through their apprenticeship program. Not sure what’s going on there, but in the meantime she has been giving serious thought to joining the Army. She saw this and said “never mind.” She was a star athlete in high school and would have made a good soldier.
Our 20-year old son is a Marine with 2 and a half yrs to go and counting down the days. We pray daily for a holy Pope and a President who will love his country. At the moment we are 0 for 2.
Keep your sons out of the US Armed Forces. It no longer seeks or desires warriors.
