Pygmies Scoffing at Giants

Many of the Founding Fathers were not rich. Classically educated most of them, many of them would have had an idea about atoms from their study of ancient Greece. Medicine was beginning to advance rapidly, as demonstrated by Washington’s inoculation of the Continental Army. The study of fossils was beginning in their time.

The first breech loading rifles were devised in the 18th century and a few were used in the Revolutionary War. American women were the most liberated women in the world in the 18th century. The idea that women were property had no place in American law except, sadly, for slaves, male and female.

Ben Franklin was pioneering the study of electricity. The Founding Fathers realized that they lived at a time when new wonders were being made. Think of the steam engine, also an invention of the 18th century. The screed above is historically illiterate, and oh so beside the point.

It represents a prejudice that the thought contained in the Constitution has to be faulty because it is old.  Such an attitude reflects unthinking scientism and presentism and is absurd on its face, as mechanisms of government, including a process of amendment, are in a different mental category than science or current attitudes of Leftists.

Great philosophical truths like representative government never go out of date, merely the willingness and capacity of generations to adhere to them ebbs and flows through history.

We are pygmies standing on the shoulders of giants, and the image at the head of this post helps demonstrate that fact.

The word Constitution ought to be capitalized but it is not. As a pro-lifer most often abused with: ” the old Founding Fathers are too old.” “The Founding Principles do not matter since Roe v. Wade” which never bore the burden of proof that the newly begotten was and is a sovereign person, not to be murdered.
He does not mention that these Founding Fathers laid down their lives for our freedom. “We will all hang together or we will all hang separately.” Franklin?
These guys are an insult to pygmies.

So, does that mean we should only trust women or trans men (formally known as a man)?
It’s ironic that as old, backward and bigoted and racist as they claim they were, they knew the difference between a man and a woman and they also didn’t let those with mental illness lead.

I’m sure Riley Gaines feels really heard as a woman in our progressive world. She was shouted down and beaten by a man dressed as a woman.
Men are allowed to cancel women in their own sports, now jobs and we are supposed to think this new group is superior?
A woman today will only be heard if she agrees her offspring should be slaughtered and that she is physically the same as men. She only has a platform if she cuts off her breasts, and has surgery to make her a man.
What absolute garbage.

As if the person who wrote this post was responsible for the discoveries of atoms, dinosaurs or any of the above. Standing in the shoulders of giants and boasting that they see farther.

AFAICT, the person propagating this meme is a woman in Tampa, Florida who was born in 1952. There are young fools who grow into old fools.

The BS diatribe drips with disingenuous, ignorant liberal propaganda plus outright lies. For instance, the bit about flint lock muskets is one of their go-to BS memes for cancelling the Second Amendment.

That handful of rich dudes had been selected by various elected state assemblies and most had been actors in adopting the Declaration of Independence and guiding the revolutionary war efforts [diplomatic, financial, and military] to a successful conclusion – no mean feats.

We are now suffering under her preferred lawless idiocracy.

“We are now suffering under her preferred lawless idiocracy.”
Since ignorance is their stock in trade, they ought to know that each and every state has a Constitution so very similar to our Constitution for the United States that abortion, transgendering, sodomy and every untruth has no place in our culture. They are free to leave,
