Good thing the Pope can’t teach error, at least not in any official capacity
How soon before they start handing out Pachamama medals at confirmation ceremonies?
He teaches error on a daily basis. Whether it’s done officially or unofficially, the result is the same : widespread confusion.
So nice to see our Pope reminding those non-Christians that there’s no salvation outside the Church.
Oh, wait…
Francis’ self-serving platitudes about a “culture of encounter” comes from the same man who refused to meet with Cardinal Zen when he traveled to Rome to try to talk with Francis about what was happening to the Church in China.
And of course, Cardinals Burke et. al. have yet to ‘encounter’ a response to their Dubia.
So I think it’s understandable that when I hear Francis gassing on about building bridges blah blah and encountering blah, I think this man should start practicing what he preaches.
Let’s see, they’ve already erected a statue of Martin Luther in the Vatican … Can a statue of Buddha be far behind? They could name him the patron saint of pantheists.
Clinton: Maybe if Cardinal Zen were to convert to Buddhism?
G. Poulin: Oops. It was sarcasm. Yes, he teaches error, maybe not every day, but yeah, error.
