Red Wave Rising

Back up to 4.29 a gallon in my part of Central Illinois.  All inflation maddens voters, but food and gas are the worst, as they impact everyone.  Never fear, the Puppetmasters are on the job:

There is a consequence to putting a party in charge which views the law of supply and demand as a right wing talking point.

Economic illiteracy is ever the tool of all demagogues.

$4.29 a gallon? Cheap gas compared to the socialist gulag of California where it’s a buck and a half to two bucks a gallon more than that. Don’t ever say leftists haven’t accomplished anything. They’ve turned one of the most beautiful places in the world into a third world dumpster fire!

For those who don’t pay much attention to politics, an October surprise with gas prices way up and stocks way down is enough to make them vote for “Change” which means red wave. I wonder if it was stocks crashing in October 2008 that pushed Obama over the top with “change you can believe in”
Remember that line?

From October 6–10, 2008 The DJIA fell over 1,874 points, or 18%, in its worst weekly decline ever on both a points and percentage basis. The S&P 500 fell more than 20%.

This item and comments reflect reality and logic. Unfortunately, there are too many voters without economic competence and will vote against their own best interests. On the flip side, I have noticed a lack of unity and ability to get out the message that would result in a red wave.

Banning offshore drilling? It’s like he’s not even pretending to be on the American side.

“ Banning offshore drilling? It’s like he’s not even pretending to be on the American side.”
Indeed. It’s hard to herd your political enemies into trains headed for the Gulag when they are able to drive their own gas-powered cars anywhere they want to go. And I’m only half joking.

The lame duck House and Senate Dems will be especially dangerous for the country. It was a lame duck Dem Congress that pushed thru ObamaCare by one vote.

Obamacare was enacted in March 2010, seven months before Congress was due to adjourn for the midterm elections.

I have a suspicion that the Democratic Party is working to injure oil and gas because they’ve been fairly immune to C-suite wokery.

I think the democrat party is at war with fossil fuels because of money. They vote themselves and their climate hoax profiteers trillions in subsidies and tax credits, with 10% coming back to them.

Plus, progressives [a one-word oxymoron] truly believe America is BAD and must be destroyed. You see it in blue states’ freeing career criminals to kill again and destabilize communities because of ‘systemic racism’ or ‘income inequality’ or ‘disparate outcomes’ or . . . They do a head count in prisons and find the majority are minorities and that means [precedents abound] it’s racism.

Well, the majority of those directly and indirectly suffering from elevated drug dysphoria, violent crime, murder rates, etc. are minorities. And they keep voting for their true oppressors.

With progressives in firm control of the public teachers’ unions, there is no cure for stupid.

JFK..

I believe it was Bart.

Cutting a deal…but in the end didn’t Americans fund Planned Parenthood to the tune of $500 million per year while Hussein Almighty Turtle Blood parasite glowed in his love for himself?

In March 2010, congressional Democrats were only a few votes short of passing historic health care legislation. Standing in the way was northern Michigan’s Democratic congressman – former Rep. Bart Stupak.

The Upper Peninsula native said he would not support the bills until he could guarantee that public money would not pay for abortions. Stupak faced intense pressure from Democrats and Republicans over his stance.

“I wanted all Americans to have access to health care but at the same time I didn’t want federal funding to be used for abortion,” Stupak told IPR News Radio during a recent call-in show. “That was a personal struggle.”

With a vote looming, Stupak cut a deal over abortion with President Obama and helped to guarantee the passage of the Affordable Care Act. His ‘yes’ vote also led to a tsunami of threatening emails, phone calls and letters from opponents of the law. His efforts to keep public money from paying for abortions also upset many Democrats.

Stupak gives a behind-the-scenes look at the health care debate in his new book, “For All Americans: The Dramatic Story Behind the Stupak Amendment and the Historic Passage of Obamacare.”

He retired from Congress in 2011

Book deal?

Sorry Bart.
Not buying into it.
