How about the Pope attack the use of chemical contraceptives and all the medical waste caused by the over-reaction to the so-called pandemic?

De carbonization- like people?
I hope the next pope just trashes everything this on has done. Better yet, has a bonfire.

“Climate concerns.” I’ll believe they are really concerned about the climate when prelates stop jetting everywhere to lecture everyone about how they need to stop jetting everywhere. The minute a Cardinal (or other such prelate) involved in promoting “integral sustainability” takes a horse (feeding it sustainably sourced hay, of course…) to his next distant destination and back, I’ll start paying attention.

“Circular economy.” Unfortunately, this merely means “we get all the stuff and you get to eat bugs.”

“Net-zero by 2050.” On the bright side, at least Peter’s Pence will no longer be used for Elton John biopics or luxury penthouses in London. Now it will be used for carbon offsets.

This. As Glenn Reynolds says: “When they start acting like it’s a crisis, I’ll believe it’s one.”

Instead, the pontiff and his regime jet all over the place.

If you want face time, gentlemen, try Teams or Zoom. Or at least give your press-friendly interviews on the deck of a clipper ship.

It really is business as usual for the oligarchs and sacrifice for the serfs.

Note, Argentina was one of the world’s most affluent countries in 1928, a peer of western Europe. They’ve spent the intervening decades in relative decline and now they’re a middle-income country who have been surpassed by three Latin American countries and, one might wager, will be surpassed by two others ‘ere long. That’s what the Peronist mentality gets you, and Francis has imbibed it.

If they really believed in climate change global warming from fossil fuel CO2, then they would go b@11$ to the wall nuclear full throttle. But they don’t and they won’t because they hate nuclear as much as they hate fossil because nuclear & fossil means cheap energy & an empowered populace whereas wind & solar means expensive energy & a populace enslaved to govt.

Jorge Mario Bergoglio is a heretical Marxist Peronist Caudillo.
