Listening to it now. I believe this is the substack article Barnes brought up around the 18 min mark.

Off the main topic here, but I’m going to climb out on a limb and suggest that polling always tends to be wrong where there is significant fraud. Note that, for the most part, the states Mr. Hanania discusses as having the biggest errors in the 2020 Presidential race were the ones in which large-scale fraud clearly occurred in key cities and counties. Those boxes of fraudulent ballots (See, e.g., “2000 Mules”) and electronically falsified tallies (Hello, Dominion) don’t answer pollsters’ calls, either. Just saying. 😉
Red Eagle Politics gives some deep analysis. He may be too optimistic about the GOP’s chances but he does some impressive analysis.
I look back to 1994. There was no war going on, unlike now. There was little inflation, unlike now. Clinton was using checkbook diplomacy but his first two years were nowhere near as bad as Biden.
The Democrats got slaughtered. If Clinton had to run for reelection in 1994 his political career would have been permanently crushed.
The GOP went from 43 Senate seats to 53, then Richard Shelby and Ben Nighthorse Campbell switched from the Democrats to the GOP.
Newt Gingrich’s Contract with America was skewered in the media, which, in that pre-Internet era with no Fox News, had only Rush Limbaugh (RIP) and other talk radio hosts covering the issue. Yet, the GOP smashed the Democrats and won the House, for the first time since 1954.
I remember CNN’s coverage…they kept running over and over that Ted Kennedy won and that Chuck Robb won in Virginia…blah, blah blah. BTW, Mitt Romney was running neck and neck with Kennedy until he turtled in a televised debate. Romney was worthless then and he is now.
As for the governor’s races….Ridge (no conservative) won in PA, Voinovich won in Ohio, Engler won in Michigan, Pataki won in New York, Bush beat Ann Richards in Texas, but 1994 is when the Democrats cemented control of California.
Given that Biden is just awful and the twitterverse and left wing media have nothing but whining about Trump, or (in PA) that Oz is from New Jersey, or (in PA) that the media HATES Mastriano, it’s just that the undecideds who are likely to vote aren’t going to vote Democrat.
Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger have NO pull with Republican voters. In fact, almost all GOP House members who voted to impeach have retied or been primaried out.
In the Senate, Toomey is quitting. Romney comes up in 2024. Murkowski may end up hanging on and she is absolutely awful as both a Senator and as a human being..anyone of Polish descent who supports abortion when Margaret Sanger wanted Slavs exterminated….
But we will see.
