Make Italy Great Again

 

 

What we are seeing throughout the West is a vote of no confidence in the elites who have policies inimical to the wishes of most of the people.  The MAGA movement in the US is a part of this, as is the coming to power of conservative populists in Italy.  If the concept of Democracy means anything, it means that out of touch leaders eventually pay a price at the polls.
