PopeWatch: Not Up for Debate

Donald R. McClarey
Cradle Catholic. Active in the pro-life movement since 1973. Father of three, one in Heaven, and happily married for 43 years. Small town lawyer and amateur historian. Former president of the board of directors of the local crisis pregnancy center for a decade.

I’ve often said that Satan always first paints a halo on his evil, but now I see he’s expanded by handing out clerical garb and fancy titles.
If there was ever a time the Catholic Church was “irrelevant” you would hope the time is now.
If Bergoglio was criminally charged with belief in Catholicism, do you think there is enough evidence for a conviction? Personally, I like his chances for acquittal.

When he was appointed to turn the JPII institute into a modernism factory, he said that there would be no one more pro-life than him.
He meant it.
And yes, JPII and B16 have much to answer for in allowing creatures like Paglia to rise.
The Pope has said abortion is like assassination and this cardinal has stated that this must be allowed. This is an enshrinement of incoherence which, as someone else mentioned, leads to irrelevance.
This is a Twitter kerfuffle. A poorly-worded statement taken out of context. I mean, a priest could have described Roe and Casey similarly a year ago.
Paglia is by all accounts a homosexualist and quite likely is same-sex attracted himself, based on the clearly and blatantly homoerotic mural he commissioned for his cathedral before Bergoglio promoted him to ruin…er, head up the Pontifical Academy for whatever. I have yet to meet or hear about a homosexualist who is not pro-abortion. Just saying. There always a first time, I guess.
And yes, JPII and B16 have much to answer for in allowing creatures like Paglia to rise.
Less time writing books and poetry, less time traveling, more time scrutinizing the dossiers of the people whose names land on your desk for episcopal appointments.

May Almighty God have mercy on His suffering Church. Dear Lord can you not give these queer clerics a vision of Hell?…please help us.
