Not only does she not know that Benjamin Franklin was not a president, she probably has no concept of the US as a constitutional democratic republic.

I suspect the bulk of those who attended the continental congresses and the constitutional convention would be loath to use the term ‘democracy’ without a critical remark, Franklin among them.
It’s another indication, in case you needed one, that the woman is deeply mediocre. She has a couple of skills, and that would be navigating the politics of the Democratic congressional caucus and the society of Democratic BigDonors. She knows nothing of policy above and beyond legislative minutiae and it’s a reasonable inference she only knows what she knows of that because bigdonors want something from her. (Note also, she’s hardly been tested as an electoral politician. She had one competitive race back in 1987 and she’s never had another one). Her whole professional existence has been pointless, yet she goes on and on, as if retiring to California with her millions would be the end of her life, and is allowed by her ‘colleagues’ to go on and on. Three of the five bosses of the congressional Democratic caucuses are over 80 and a fourth is 77.
She can’t help her stupidity. Nancy Pelosi loves Benjamin Franklin. All of them. $$$
