The protesters' understanding of how glue works is on a par with their understanding of how climate works. https://t.co/IFBQhjLXsa

I do not believe in beating people bloody and crippled, but there should be a place in the penal code for mild forms of corporal punishment
Science is magic to a climate Druid.
No concept of cure time and how even the best bond would only bond an outside layer of skin capable of being torn off. That amount of glue likely gave off substantial VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds), hope police charge them with polluting a closed space too.
I agree with DJH. Let’s have a medically supervised public flogging. Ten lashes each. Don’t threaten their lives. But make them feel physical pain for what they have done. Don’t do it out of sadism. Do it to teach all environmentalists a lesson. Peaceful protest – yes. Trying to damage or destroy someone else’s property? You get a flogging.
Personally, respectful flogging I could cheer … but in today’s age will work against us. These nincompoops are hurting themselves … as seen in the Tour de France protests and now here.
On the other hand, the protestors clearly have skin in the game 🙂

They sure didn’t stick around very long!
We live in a world where Botticelli’s Spring has a protective glass panel in front of it. I find that depressing in itself.
It’s another reminder that ‘protesters’ are commonly agents of those in authority. You could have ended the rioting in Portland that Andy Ngo was documenting and done so in one night.
LQC: You are being a little nicer than I would be. Medically supervised? Back when I started homeschooling, I got some pretty radical mothering magazines. Do you know that you can buy a switch with an ergonomic handle? I kid you not. Now, some older ladies I play tennis with a few years back had a wooden spoon used on them, and my grandmother apparently tried to discipline my dad and his brothers with a vaccuum cleaning wand.
.
So a public caning might be in order, or the stocks (seated), but I am not entirely sure the medically supervised part is necessary. On the other hand. 70, 80, years ago, people were a little tougher
